Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Merrilyn Penegor in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 89, on October 25, 2023. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Lester and Mae Lester; her husband Don; her grandson Garcia; her children, Tom Penegor (Belinda), Barbara Penegor, Susan Warren (Joe) and Scott Penegor (Shannon); her grandchildren, Carter, Keegan, Rachael, Matthew, Christian and Olivia; and her brother Robert Lester (Marilyn) of Annapolis, MD. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice) or Lexington Country Place.
