She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Goins and Bertha M. Wren Thurman; her son Malik J. Goins; and her brother Jeffery Goins. She is survived by: her children, Ciara M. Hay (Evan), Amberwren Garcia and Isaiah D. Goins; her grandchildren, Denalii, Skyra, Aradessa, Armando R. and Jordan Dwayne Clay Goins; and her siblings, Canadace Y. Watkins (Stephon), Leigh A. Hayes (Eric), Jacquelyn R. Thurman, Clay R. Goins and Timothy Goins. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Rogers Funeral Home to assist with services.
