She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Meade and Vina Hazel "Justice" Meade; her husband Billy Jean Adams; her son Wendell Craig Adams; and her brother Roger Meade.
She is survived by: her children, Christal Kirby (James Sizemore) and Darrell Adams; her grandchildren, Alex Kirby, Andrew Kirby, Nicholas Kirby and Chasity Kirby; and her siblings, Ina Fay Thomas, Nova Compton and Reaford Meade.
