She is survived by: her husband Richard Grigsby; her children, Angela Taylor, Aarika Able and Andre Cook; and her grandchildren, Tasha Norfleet (Roosevelt), Crystal Lipscomb (Terry), Jasmine Meads (Bryan), Brandon Sims (Sarah), Brian Sims, Imani Garrison, Raven Sanford and Alvondre Dunn. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
