She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Cooper Carter; her parents, Kenneth Samuel and Lena Mae Case Hughes; her daughter-in-law Linda Ruth Tyson; and her brothers, Donald Hughes, Walter Hughes, Leonard Hughes and Grover Hughes.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Tyson (Linda Reigh) of Nicholasville, KY, Gary Tyson (Patti) of Nicholasville, KY, Mark Tyson (Beverly) of Nicholasville, KY and Lloyd Tyson of Nicholasville, KY; her stepsons, Ronnie Carter of Lancaster, KY and Glenn Carter (Paula) of Lexington, KY; and her siblings, Barbara Sagester, Lawrence Hughes (Wanda) and Raymond Hughes. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
