She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred William Upton of Knoxville and Mary Frances Holt of Lexington; and her stepchildren, Mary Gunn, Larry McKnight and Mary Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Jones (Charlene), Thelma Thomas and Gwen Brown (George) of Kansas City, Missouri; and her close friends, Joyce Floyd and John Hughes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and ten plus great- great-grandchildren.
