Mary Elizabeth Cook Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Cook (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elizabeth Helen and Ernest Talbert Cook. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews, cousins and their children.
The greater Cook family would like to extend special thanks to Lona and Frank Kelley, Carol and Huie Yang, Kate and Jim Cundy, and Janet Evans, all of whom provided ongoing care and support for Libby, particularly during the pandemic when conditions made it difficult for other members of her extended family to see her when it mattered the most.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Libby's memory to the Pax Christi Church Building Fund, ITN Bluegrass Transportation, or the Kentucky Talking Book Library.
