She is survived by: her husband Charles Alan "Chuck" Griffis; her aunt Mary Grimes Henry; her cousins, Walter "Buddy" Coleman III, Greg W. Coleman, Janet Coleman Fey, Jennifer Fey Tapp, Karl Hempel, Kathy Hempel Proffit, Rick Hempel, Karen Hempel Bowmer, Jeanne Grimes Taylor, Kelly Grimes Noel, Ann Emmert Abbott, Amy Emmert Pugh, Emery "Em" Emmert and Kitty Emmert; and her pets, J. Winston and Piper.
