With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Peyton of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Meade and Nancy Meade (Gibson); her husband Bill Peyton; and her siblings, N. Mitchell Meade, Ray Meade and Lorraine Harrison.

She is survived by: her brother Fred Meade (Sue) of Lexington; and her nieces, Susan Bayes (Eric) of Lexington, Nancy Little (Russ) of Flower Mound, TX and Teresa Willoughby of Richmond.
