She was predeceased by: her spouse Dr. Alva L. Herring Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Mary Jane Boyd of Solana Beach, CA; her son Alan Hall; her daughter-in-law Paige of Lexington, KY; and her grandchildren, Monica and Brandon Hall of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, she would have appreciated donations to the charity of one's choice.
