She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Robert Gerke; her parents, Johanna Seaman and George Seaman; her children, Simon Gerke (Stephanie) of Lexington, KY and Sarah Gerke Miller of Huntington, WV; and her grandchildren, Robert, Quinn Miller, Thomas Aquinas, Mary Abigail, Grace Anne and John-Paul Augustine Gerke.
In lieu of flowers, Margaret has asked that donations be directed toward the beautification of the Hehman Hall Courtyard in the hope that a statute of St. Thomas Aquinas will be acquired.
