She was predeceased by: her parents, Andreas Himmelspach and Eva Himmelspach; and her brother John Himmelspach. She is survived by: her husband Donald J. Meibers; her children, Donna "Meibers" Snider (Bud), Patty "Meibers" Ritzenthaler (Jeff) and David J. Meibers (Donna); her grandchildren, Ashley "Snider" Oladunni (Tim), Jason Snider (Gemma Ibarra), Jessica "Meibers" Fatkin (Austin), Joe Meibers (MIa), Sophie Ritzenthaler and Madison Ritzenthaler; her great grandchildren, Ife Magdalena Oladunni and David Jude Meibers; her siblings, Theresia "Himmelspach" Wagner, Andy Himmelspach and Betty "Himmelspach" Collogan (Clement); and her uncle Pete (Kalbli). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions in Lena's name to Bluegrass Hospice Care at 2312 Alexandria Dr. Lexington, KY 40504.
