Madge Elizabeth Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madge Elizabeth Smith in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morgan and Isabel Sadler Smith; and her siblings, Jane Smith Woody and John Morgan Smith Jr.. She is survived by: her son Charlie Smith (Sally Scherer); and her nieces and nephews, John Howard Woody (Jenny), Mickey Woody, Laura Stanish (Pete), Debbie Gentry (Mike), Tammy Kennedy (Mark), Sandy Haynes (Rick), Jane Shadburne and Cindy Williams. She is also survived by six great nephews and two great, great nieces.
In lieu of flowers she requested memorial contributions be made to the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, P.O. Box 34184, Lexington, KY 40588 or Second Presbyterian Church.
