We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2024, at the age of 77, Mable Ruth Sumner in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Deaton and Alberta Deaton; her husband Vennus Glenn Sumner; her son David Wayne Sumner; and her siblings, Betty Jean Green, Hettie Mae Campbell, Edna Gail Fritts, Donald Deaton and Timothy Wayne Deaton.

She is survived by: her brother Johnnie; and her close friends, Terri Schoebel (Rick), Cheryl Polston (Larry) and Michael Contrades. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
