She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Thornberry and Elizabeth Wells Thornberry. She is survived by: her husband Merle Jackson; her sons, Jerry Jackson (Jennifer) of Nicholasville and Randy Jackson (Krissy) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Jarod Jackson, Jason Jackson (Heather), Jacob Jackson (Tori), Jed Jackson (Caroline) and Madison Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Colebrine and Slade.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513).
