With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy K. Booker (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Leo King and Lucy Smith King; her sister Eleanor King Hunt; and her daughter Barbara Booker Wills. She is survived by: her husband William J. Booker; her children, Terry Werner (Edith), Katherine Henry (David) and Bill Booker (Debra); her grandchildren, Lucy Wills, Isabelle Booker, Benjamin Booker, Charlie Henry and Elizabeth Henry; and her caregivers, Tina Swift, Edith Speaks and Kellie Mullins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators and/or Lexington Humane Society.
