He was predeceased by: his wife Julia G. Dalton; his parents, Clara Giasson and Charles-Emile Dupont; and his siblings, Paul-Emile, Andre, Rose-Marie Saint-Amant (Pierre), Lucille Blanchet (Michel), Clemence Dupont, Edith Morneau (Edmond), Aline Morin (Denis), Simone Lariviere (Georges) and Emma McLeod (Gordon).

He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Dupont, Annette DuPont-Ewing (Tony), Diane Newcomb (Patrick), Michael Dupont (Shelly) and Louise Dupont (George); his brothers, Marcel Dupont and Francois Dupont (Rita); and his grandchildren, Jessica Dupont, Austin Dupont, Kristin Dupont, Alexis Lane, Whitney Dupont, Zachary Newcomb, Julianne Ewing, Alana Newcomb and Phillip Ewing.
