She was predeceased by: her parents, Obert Proffitt and Alice Proffitt. She is survived by: her husband Paul Madison Grubbs; her children, Cindy Stamper (Ed) of Monticello, David Grubbs (Melissa) and Lisa Grubbs of Lexington; and her sister Anita Elam (Greg) of Lexington. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
