He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Sheffield and Lina Sheffield (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Hazel Marie; his children, Amy Sheffield of Lexington, KY, Kirk Sheffield (Peggy) of Nicholasville, KY, Mark Sheffield (Sherry) of Wilmore, KY, Phillip Sheffield (Dodie) of Indianapolis, IN and Loren Sheffield of Nicholasville, KY; and his siblings, Shirley "Ray" Sheffield of Oregon, IL, Fairley Sheffield of Lexington, KY, Cecil Sheffield of Clark County, KY and Carol Diamond of Richmond, KY. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
