He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jennings Johnson and Anna Little Johnson; his siblings, Charles Edward and Neva Lee; his wife Janice; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Hoskins, Donald Meade, Jim Burke, Gary Yonts and Patricia Meade.

He is survived by: his daughter Sherry; and his sisters-in-law, Alberta Yonts and Rosemary Hoskins. He is also survived by several cousins and nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
