Burkhead (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dellard Minton and Lorene Houchin Minton; and her husband Donald E. "Don" Burkhead. She is survived by: her children, Kirk D. Burkhead (Natalie M.) and Sherry Barnes; and her grandchildren, Haley M. Burkhead, Brooklyn Moore, Kurtis Swift, Amber Barnes and Brooke Barnes. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
