She is survived by: her children, Robert Sturgill (Susan) of Morehead, KY, Lorri Rogers (Tom) of Lexington, KY and Joseph Sturgill of Lexington, KY.; her grandchildren, Joshua Sturgill, Rachel Bowen (Jaron), Foster Rogers (Samantha) and Laura Sisman (Logan); her great grandchild Ethan Bowen; her siblings, Linda York and Paul Whitlow of Clarksville, TN.; and her pet Shau.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Dixon Cemetery.
While Alzheimer's might have robbed her of her memory, it did not rob her of her sense of humor.
