As Larry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Larry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David McKee and Helen Jackson-McKee; his grandfather Tom Sanford (Mary); and his brothers, Robert James Sanford Sr. (Hester) and Louis McKee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamiika Hines (Ricky Sr.) of Cordova, TN, Cheilon McKee-Mayes (D'Marcus) of Victoria, MS, Demeen Manning (Ryan) of Lexington, KY and Keera Sidney of Lexington, KY.; his sisters, Davina McKee Herron of Lexington, KY and Laeuna McKee Brannon of Lexington, KY; and his friends, Michael Evans of Lexington, KY and Doug Twitty of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
