“Larry was a math student in my classes in the late fifties. I also was his coach in basketball. Larry was an excellent and model student. One of my favorite memories of Larry was the night he tackled a basketball player at mid-court as he was heading for a lay up. I guess he forgot he was not playing football. Larry was pleasant and respectful, and it was my privilege to know him. I am sorry to read of his passing. My sincere expression of sympathy to his family”
