He is survived by: his former wife Linda Hensley Smith; his daughter Doreena Smith; his grandchildren, Markell Smith and Nabrayah Morgan; and his siblings, Ronald Smith, Malcolm Smith, Vincent Smith of Lexington, KY, Janice Smith, Carmen Smith of Yonkers, NY and Mable Smith-Underwood of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
