He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Ray Vest, Sr. and Willie Jean Hisle Vest. He is survived by: his brother Jewell Ray Vest, Jr. (Jennifer Jo); his nephews, Joshua Ray Vest (Stephanie), James Anthony Vest (Kathryn) and Justin Vest (Lauren); his great-nieces, Evelyn Jean Vest and Lydia Jane Vest; his great-nephew Silas Garrett Vest; and his aunts, Martha Helen Mullins (Woodrow Franklin) and Elizabeth Martin.
