He is survived by: his wife Jill Bentley Bishop of Lexington; his daughter Lauren Bentley (Ryan) of Grayson; his siblings, Charlotte Griffith of Grayson, Kathy Flatt (David) of Grayson and Larry Bishop (Glenda) of Grayson; and his grandchildren, Aria Cantrell and Aiden Cantrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
