With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay Williams Lay of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Ravenna, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Williams and Nannie Belle Trent Williams. She is survived by: her husband William Boian Lay of Apex, NC; her siblings, Barbara [John] Rison (Irvine) and Donald [Pat] Williams (Ravenna); her grandchildren, Ashley Harris [Brandon] Gish, Justin [Kaitlyn] Harris and Kristin Lay; her great grandchildren, Elle, Ford, Harris Gish, Kyleigh, Amelia and Laikyn Harris; and also Jennifer Lay [David] Harris (Versailles). She is also survived by her three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
