With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Hale Hopkins in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on December 6, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalna Hays Hale and Wilson Herman Hale; and her husband Tommy Carson Hopkins. She is survived by: her children, Jane Hale Hopkins of Atlanta, GA and Thomas Wilson Hopkins of Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the University of Kentucky Arboretum, 500 Alumni Dr., Lexington, KY 40503 or Calvary Baptist Church, 150 E. High St., Lexington, KY 40507.
