It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Walker of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Shelbyville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Woodrow Bailey and Jenny Hedges Bailey; and her siblings, Jenny and Ike. She is survived by: her sons, William (Gemma Walker), Ashton (Susan Walker), Bryant and Joseph (Latonya Walker); and her siblings, Doris, Dolly, Cliff and Hughie. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
