He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Howard, Ina Hicks, Gillis and Ruby McCrary; and his aunt Patricia Hicks Carr.
He is survived by: his parents, Melissa McCrary Scott and Sidney Scott; and his stepfather Jonathan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
JP's wishes were to continue to help others and he continued that legacy with the gift of organ donation.
