He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin "Bobby" Rowland and Elizabeth Howard Rowland; his son John Rowland Jr.; and his sister Charlotte Arnold. He is survived by : his daughters, Anna Wathen (Jay) of Harrodsburg and Jennifer Rowland (Chris) of Danville; his grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Sara Jones, Marissa Hargis, Grace Wathen, Kennedy Alcorn and Christina Alcorn; and his siblings, Marvin Rowland of Tennessee, Brenda Rowland of Lancaster and Vicki Rowland of Harrodsburg.
