He is survived by: his children, Helen Shoemaker (Lewis), Marjorie Murray (Kevin) and John Anderson II (Susan); his grandchildren, Scott Shoemaker (Misty), Helen Shoemaker Tackett (Michael), Megan Anderson Carter (Curtis), John Anderson III, Andrew Murray and Michael Murray; his great grandchildren, Gwyneth Shoemaker, Paige Tackett, Colton Tackett, Avalyn Carter and Clay Carter; and his siblings, Howard Anderson, Paul Anderson, Reva Anderson and Joyce Casady.
