He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Bell (Kersey). He is survived by: his son John R. Bell; his daughter-in-law Christine Bell (Soyka); his granddaughters, Rachel Shupe (Bell) and Emily Bell; his sister Nancy Coots (Bell); and also Lura Bell (Stone).
