He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence C. O'Brien and Irene O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Linnea Westin O'Brien; his daughter Kathy O'Brien-Rywacki (Marek); his sisters, Rosemary Hatoon and Therese Woolahan; and his grandchildren, Johannes, Karl, Franz Schonberg and Anna Liza Rywacki.
