With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Kenneth Powell of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Powell and Evelyn Powell. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Putney Powell; his daughters, Marsha Norris and Paula Doll (Richard); his grandchildren, Sam Ward (Michelle) of Cape Coral, FL, Amy Spagnuolo of Paris, KY, Kevin Jordan (Kim) of McDonough, GA and Jill Robinson (Tim) of Paris, KY; his great grandchildren, Brian Bumpus (Kami), Brandi Day, Samantha Adcock (Nate), Scottie Whitaker, Cameron Whitaker, Kierstin McKune (Hunter), Jason Jordan, Gage Robinson and Jillian Jordan; and his great great grandchildren, Lilly Day, Liam Day, Lennon Adcock, Tate Adcock and Karley Adcock.
