He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Harris and Pauline Harris; and his siblings, Frank, Terry Harris, Bonnie Sams, Joyce Morton, Gay Mayes and Helen Applegate.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Birch Harris. He is also survived by his wife, he is survived by seven nieces and four nephews.
