He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl Ball and Nina Gerardot; and his brother Donald Ball. He is survived by: his sons, John Douglas Ball, Jr. (Jed) of Mexico City, Howard Prewitt Ball of Lexington, Basset and Clem. He is also survived by his family and friends.

If you care to, Doug was never without a dog or two and would certainly appreciate being remembered by a donation to the Lexington Humane Society.
