He was predeceased by: his former wife Katherine Cottrill; and his daughter Doris J. Manning of Hopewell Junction, NY.. He is survived by: his children, Susan Barnwell of Conway, SC, Lynn Bowen of York, SC, Jeanne Clark (Greg) of Lexington, KY, John Cottrill (Carol) of Atlanta, GA and Jeffrey Cottrill (Carol) of Lexington, KY; and his wife Katherine "Kay" Roettger. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
