With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Connell Robertson (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Carrollton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clytie Robertson and B. T. Robertson; his wife Julia Carolyn Bell; and his siblings, Woodson, Ben Thomas, David and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Patti), Cathy Hanna (Tom), Tom (Laura) and Winfrey Kirkpatrick (Rob); his niece Elizabeth Rose (Don); his grandchildren, Jay (Morgan), Julia (Scott), Thomas, Tyler (Maggie), Robert, William, Gabriella, Emily, Mary Elizabeth, Caroline and Tommy; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, John, James, Jack and George. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to one of the following: John C. Robertson Scholarship Fund at the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
