We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2023, at the age of 87, Joanne Stevens McClanahan of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Frankfort, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Newton McClanahan Jr.; her parents, John Stevens and Mattie Stevens; her son Mark McClanahan; and her sister Betty Lou Stevens Tackett.

She is survived by: her son Dr. Karl McClanahan; and her friend Trish Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Grace Baptist Church, 811 Bryan Avenue, Lexington, KY 40505.
