Florea of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dotson Holt and Winnie Vanhook Holt; her husband Leland Florea; and her siblings, Maydell Dykes (Holt), Coyd Holt, Lenard Holt, Georgia Holt, Jessie Holt, James Holt, Hyle Holt and Geraldine Whitlaw (Holt).
She is survived by: her children, Debra Meece Duncan of Phelan, Edward Meece of Cincinnati, Lee Florea of Olympia and Shannon Florea of Lexington, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Adam Duncan, Ashlee Meece, Asher Feddock, Anderson Feddock and Isaac Florea; and her great grandchild Rosalee.
Family is asking for in lieu of flowers or material condolences, that donations be made to local charities or Alzheimer's Association in the name of Jewell Florea.
