It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jewel A. Johnson (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Wayland, Kentucky, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gordon Salyers and Grace Edith Gibson Salyers; and her siblings, Clarence D. "Jimmy" Salyers (Doris) and Elma Salyers Stevenson (Karl). She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Lynn Mills (Randy), Leslie Gillespie (Russell), Doug Salyers (Lori), Jeff Salyers (Sharon) and Ronnie Salyers; her close friends, Alma Kidd and Fred Kidd-Wiglesworth (Dan); and also, Jewel, Jo Ann Campbell, Joy Johnson and Steve Johnson (Barbara).
Jewel expressed her wishes that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Woodford Animal Hospital, Lexington Hospital for Cats or the Lexington Humane Society.
