With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Martin Cooke (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Earlington, Kentucky, who passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Elliott and Clarice Martin (Bowles). She is survived by: her children, Marti Cooke Watts (Ron), Judy Katherine Cooke and L. R. "Randy" Cooke, III; her brother Paul Thomas Martin (Barbara); her grandchildren, Allie Walker (Matt) and Maggie Watts; her great grandchildren, Owen Jacob Walker and Olivia Florence Walker; her nieces and nephews, Wendi Martin, Lyn Voige (John), Curt Martin (Tamara) and Rusty Purdy (Frankie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Claire Pinto (Brandon), Grace Martin, Alden Pinkham (Dan), Laura Heister (Alex), Russ Purdy (Simmons), Mimi Purdy and Jaclyn Voige.

In honor of her legacy, memorial donations may be directed to the Interfaith Counseling Center c/o Calvary Baptist Church, 150 E. High Street, Lexington, KY 40507 and Bluegrass Care Navigators, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
