She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop A. B. Waye and Lula Mae Waye; her husband Dr. Nathan R. Sullivan; her daughter Tonya M (Sullivan); and her brother Willie James Waye.
She is survived by: her daughter Tera J. Sullivan; her grandsons, Steven Berry and Seth Frye; her sisters, Lula Clay (Harlan) and Laura Byrd (Florida); and her in-laws, Shirley Sullivan-Carter (Newland), Phillip Sullivan (Pam), Walter Sullivan, Phyllis Sullivan, Rachel Sullivan-Thomas and Elizabeth Sullivan-Sabir (Ramadan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
