Though Jay may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Kay McGaha (Simons); his brother Kermit Alton McGaha; and his parents, Clara Veota Hird and Kermit Wilson McGaha. He is survived by: his daughter Mechelle McGaha; his grandson Brigham Romriell McGaha; and his brothers, Gary McGaha (Joyce) and Dan Hird (Linda). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Man O War Church of God (1501 Trent Blvd, Lexington, KY 40515).
