She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Triplett and Ruby Denniston Triplett. She is survived by: her sons, David Johnson of Lexington and Sam Johnson (Christy) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Ally Johnson, Miley Johnson and Kerrington Johnson; and her sister Bonnie Robinson of Nicholasville.

Janice was retired from Kentucky Medical Services Foundation (KMSF) and a member of East Hickman Baptist Church.
