We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2021, at the age of 74, Janet Peat Jones (Lexington, Kentucky), born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Peat Jones to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Cranston Peat and Lucille McElheney Peat, RN. She is survived by: her son Christopher William Drake Jones; her child-in-law Meredith Lyster Jones; her grandchildren, Robert Drake Jones, William Howell Jones and Fielding McAllister Jones; her daughter Jamie Jones Culbreth (Rickard Lamar Culbreth, Jr.); her grandchildren, Catherine Rose Culbreth and Thomas Lawton Culbreth; and her siblings, Barbara Peat Hershberger (Duane Eugene Hershberger), Kenneth William Peat and James Cranston Peat. She is also survived by her six nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation or memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
