He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dudley Scott and Emma Lucille Flener Scott. He is survived by: his daughter Katrina Ann; his wife Betty "Celery" Scott; his daughters, Stephanie Kay Scott (Linda) of Murfreesboro, TN and Cynthia Scott Flora (Duane) of Glasgow, KY.; his grandchildren, Cara Elisabeth "Cara Beth" Scott (Colby), Courtney Ann Cunningham (Brian), Carmella Maria "Camille" Palladino (Quinn), Brett Owen Flora (Melissa), Michael Scott Flora (Maggie) and April Weese (Lila); and his great grandchildren, William Lucas McFadden, Sean Tuttle, Luke Tuttle, Parker Weese and Rosie Weese.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations given in Jim's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (honoring both Jim's mother and Betty), the Parkinson's Foundation, or locally to Lexington B.U.I.L.D.
