He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Ward and Kathryn Ward. He is survived by: his wife Marie Landers Ward; his children, Rachel Ward Mitchell (Mike), Stephen Ward (Kimberly Harms), Megan Ward Travi and Angela Ward Pletcher (Sam); his grandchildren, Julian Mitchell, Hannah, Oscar Ward, Amos and Hazel Travi; and his siblings, Patricia Ward Reger (Paul) and Michael Ward (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Back Pack Program at God's Pantry or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
